Bellevue Avenue Craftsman
Originally conceived as a potential investment property, the client and family quickly became enamored with the California craftsman style home, and ultimately decided to retain the property as a treasured vacation home for the family.
The narrow lot presented a unique challenge to fit all the programmatic elements desired by the homeowner, which includes exterior stair access to a hidden rooftop deck, and covered porches/sunrooms adjacent to the bedrooms
The combination of staggered shingles and horizontal siding, tapered columns and its color palette are all emblematic of traditional craftsman architecture.
